GK BioShock is a one of a kind, liquid, bioremediation product. The product is an active bioremediation system i.e. the product contains millions of live Bacterial, Fungal and Yeast isolates that are capable of degrading hydrocarbon based pollutants, such as petrochemicals,  under both aerobic (in the presence of oxygen) and anaerobic (in the absence of oxygen) conditions. The liquid base of the product contains all the nutrients necessary to ensure the microbes introduced to your remediation site are provided with the best possible chance of survival in large enough numbers to ensure a successful bioremediation process.

1. The site in question had been contaminated by a diesel transport tanker that had rolled in a mountain pass and ruptured a tank. Diesel had run across the road and penetrated the soil on the other side of the road.

4. Unfortunately a large amount of diesel that penetrated the soil has made its way under the road and exited on a cliff face leading down to a river system.

7. The liquid GK BioShock bioremediation product is introduced to the contaminated area at the same point of entry as the spilled diesel fuel. The GK Liquid Bioremediation product is then flushed under the road and out the cliff face with water allowing for the GK Liquid Bioremediation product to follow the same route as that of the diesel fuel. The site is flushed in the same manner periodically for a nine month period.
  2. The road surface and surrounding soil is saturated in diesel. A spill response company arrives on site and uses an absorbent material to mop up the spill on the road surface.

5. There are large amounts of free phase diesel present in the river system.

8. After a nine month period the river system and route followed by the diesel fuel under the road and down the cliff face to the river are completely remediated.

3. Diesel fuel has penetrated the soil at the verge of the road. Free phase diesel fuel is absorbed from the surface of the soil.

6. The majority of the free phase diesel is removed from the water surface using an absorbent material. Contaminated river sand and rocks remain behind.
