GK Xtreme is a universal absorbant material designed for the end user that disposes of used absorbant material at a registered landfill site. GK Xtreme will absorb large amounts of almost anything including petrochemicals, solvents, paints, weak acids and weak bases. The product has a "memory" and therefore the ability to distinguish between hydrocarbons and water. Hydrocarbon based compounds are absorbed in preference to a water base, however, the product will absorb water based products such as coolants in the absence of hydrocarbons.
